IBS

Independent research has indicated that hypnotherapy can be successful in the treatment of IBS. Stress and anxiety can often be contributing factors to IBS and its symptoms and relaxation training in combination with ‘gut directed hypnotherapy’ can bring about relief by helping a person to relax and become more aware of the factors that can contribute to their own IBS.

Clients are encouraged to monitor and report back on their weekly progress through simple recording of information and are also given a CD to listen to between sessions. The length of the process varies for each individual, but a guide would be around 6 sessions.
