Sporting Performance

Many top sports people have used mental techniques to sharpen their game. The ‘mental game’ can be equally as important the physical side of the game. Obviously physical and technical practice is essential, but the key that unlocks true performance at any level of ability is your mental performance. Even if you have outstanding ability this can sometimes prove not enough, if you lose your concentration, suffer from nerves, become angry or frustrated. No matter what level you are playing at, hypnotherapy can help you learn to relax and perform more consistently. Sessions also consider some examples of mental and emotional barriers that prevent performance like:
Lack of confidence
Negative mental attitude
Ability to perform under pressure
Self-limiting beliefs

From a sports and coaching performance perspective, although no longer playing competitively, your therapist is fully qualified Badminton and Squash Coach, having captained a Hertfordshire County Badminton squad for over 7 years. This has helped him understand mental focus techniques at all levels.
